About Me

Choosing the right counsellor is everything to your therapeutic experience, therefore I’d like to tell you a bit about me.

I came to counselling having been on a therapeutic journey of my own. In doing so, I gained personal insight into the far reaching benefits of Person Centred counselling.  This journey inspired me to undertake the necessary training to become a Person Centred counsellor myself.

Person Centred counselling is a talking, non directive form of therapy with the values of empathy, acceptance and congruence at its core.

I am an intuitive, spiritual person with a warm and friendly disposition. Over the last few years, I have developed a personal practice of mindfulness which whilst not used in session, does inform my practice.

The outdoor environment is very important to me and is a space which I frequently explore with my Labrador by my side.

My home based practice is in Marple Bridge, Stockport, 12 miles from Manchester and is easily accessible by train, bus or car.

My main areas of counselling experience are relational issues, anxiety, attachment, self-esteem and loss for adults aged 18 years and over.

If you would like to know more, then please get in touch. I aim to contact you by phone at a mutually agreeable time within 48 hours of your enquiry for a free ten minute phone consultation.

My fees are £45 per hourly session and £50 after 5.00pm and at weekends.

Concessions available upon request.

Payment strictly 24 hours in advance of session.
